There are over 30 Loran awards valuing up to$75,000 awarded across Canada. Potential candidates must exhibit strong academic performance and moral character, commitment to serving others, great potential as leaders, independent thinking, and a willingness to take meaningful risks.

U of T NATIONAL & ARBOR SCHOLARSHIPS

$35,000- $50,000 UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
This Scholarship covers tuition and fees for 4 years of study, and support for residence the first year and an 
additional renewable monetary award.

TD LEADERSHIP YOUNG CANADIAN LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP

 $70,000 TD Scholarships to any university or college in Canada

Have you made a difference in your community? Then this is the scholarship for you! Students must demonstrate great leadership in one of the following areas: environment (GREEN CLUB), promotion of Social justice (SWAT or GSA) , and fight against child poverty (GAAP) to name a few. The scholarship is $10,000/year for tuition and $7500 for living expenses/year.It also includes paid summer employment and Mentorship opportunities.

CRITERIA:

• demonstrate oustanding leadership in the community
• Obtain a min overal average in the most recent full school year of 75%
• Three copies of an essay of up to 600 words describing you leadership
• Three letters of support from the community groups, who you have been involved in
• A letter of recommendation from you school
• A trascript of your academic records

• TRANSCRIPTS are available with 2 days notice from the office. Complete a request form and submit to Ms. Sorochan. Request forms are on the Main office counter.

• Please provide teachers with 2 weeks notice to complete REFERENCE LETTERS. See Ms.Morabito in room C224 to pick up a Reference Letter Request Form or access the link to one on the scholarship link on the school website.
