$1000 SOUTH ASIAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP


The South Asian Family Association is awarding three scholarships to students of South Asian Descent in the amount of $1000 for Academic Excellence, Excellence in Community Invovlement and Excellence in the Fine Arts.

$1000 BC Electircal Association Scholarship & Bursary Program


The BC Electrical Association is awarding between $500 and $1000 to any eligible students who plan on studying Electrical, Marketing, Electrical Engineering or Business. Bursaries are awarded based on finacial need, field of study, employment, community service and school activities. Applications available www.bcea.bc.ca DEADLINE: JUNE 15


$1500 Elmer Helm Youth Fund

The ALEXANDRA FOUNDATION FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSES provides $1500 to deserving students who wish to pursue post secondary training in the artistic, academic or technical field.


CRITERIA: plan to pursue studies in a certificate or degree program at the college or university level and must be significantly involved in their community in a volunteer capacity.

$1500 Lovison Family Memorial Scholarship & Father Emmanuele Rosaia Scholarship



$1500 Lovison Family memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Roman Catholic student, with a 3.0 GPA or higher, who has volunteered in the community and or at school and is planing to go to university, college or technical school. 

$1500 Father Emmanuele Rosaia Scholarship is for any Roman Catholic Grad of Italian-Canadian origin. Must have strong academic achievement, strength in the Catholic church, leadership in the community and school, must be going into the studies of Humanities--English, Literature, Philosophy, Fine Arts etc.

$2000 JACK FARLEY YOUTH SPORTS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Short time line, but great opportunity! These scholarships are awarded to one outstanding male and one outstanding female amateur athlete graduating from a BC secondary school. These students will excel in a particular sport and exemplify the values, commitment and contribution to the community held by Jack Farley, an honoured member of the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. $13,000 Scholarship to Q College in Victoria

Any secondary student in BC, grade 9-12, can win this $13,000 scholarship to the newly accredited Q College (in Victoria). This scholarship is awarded to students graduating and proceeding to a post-secondary institution.
30 SCHOLARSHIPS - Regional scholarshipswill be awarded to NON MEMBERS

10 SCHOLARSHIPS - MEMBER scholarships will be awarded to sons/daughters of BCPVPA members 
2 - SCHOLARSHIPS - for FIRST NATIONS students
CRITERIA: Certified copy of the Ministry of Education's Transcript of final grades (mailed to you in August), Proof paid registration at a post-seconday institution, Short essay indication leadership roles held in your school & community, 2 Reference letters (1 from a member of the BCPVPA (principal) and 1 additional one Please see Ms. Morabito for an application. DEADLINE: JUNE 15

$1000 -GET OUTSIDE YOUR WORLD CONTEST & SCHOLARSHIP

 Since 2004, Engineers without borders has sponsored the Get Outside Your World (GOYW) Contest that has encouraged over 1300 Canadian students to think critically about how Canada can be a strong leader in the world, and the crucial role Canadian youth can play to make that happen. One winner from grade 12 will receive an $1000 untied scholarship, and the winner from grades 9-11 wins a $500 prize. On top of this, both winners will be flown to EWB's National Conference 2013 in Calgary, Alberta, where they will collaborate with a team to deliver a workshop to over 700 University Students, engineering professionals, and international development experts in their network! 2-$6000 CST Consultants Inc. Guruparan and Winsor Scholarships

Awarded to students who are academically gifted, and well-rounded and planning to pursue post secondary education in or outside of Canada. This program is aimed at students whose parents do not have post-secondary education or received their post-secondary education outside of Canada. 1 $6000 scholarship will go to a female and 1 to a male. $4000 BCIT PRESIDEN'TS ENTRANCE AWARD
