ROTARY CLUB OF BURNABY ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP!

ROTARY CLUB of BURNABY ADVENTURES PROGRAMS
The Rotary Club of Burnaby is pleased to sponsor 1 grade 12 student to participate in each of the following programs:
  • Adventures in Citizenship - trip to Ottawa
  • Adventures in Film - trip to Powell River's Film Festival -EXPIRED
  • Adventures in Forestry & Environmental Studies
  • Adventures in Technology trip to Saskatchewan
  • Adventures in Tourism- trip to Kelowna
The successfull candidate will go on an all expenses paid trip to participate in realted activities and learn more about the specific field (e.g Citizenship, Tourism, Film, Forestry/Environment) All candidates will be interviewed by members of the Rotary Club of Burnaby who will choose 1 candidate to participate in each of the programs. $28,000 Terry Fox Humanitarian Awards

Terry Fox Humanitarian Awards are open to grads and students currently pursuing a first university degree or diploma in a Canadian post-secondary institution. The Terry Fox Humanitarian award is valued at $28,000.
To be considered, applicants must meet be:
  • In good academic standing.
  • Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
  • Students who have already completed secondary (high) school OR are graduating from secondary (high) school in the coming year OR those completing their first year of CÉGEP
  • Involved in voluntary humanitarian activities (for which they have not been compensated).
  • Planning to or already studying towards their first university degree or diploma at a Canadian post-secondary institution

$50,000 Burger King Scholarship

The BURGER KING Scholars program is awarding Scholarship grants ranging from $1,000 to $50,000, and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average, work experience, extracurricular activities and/or community service. Applications at:
