Queen's Major Entrance Scholarships

Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership can apply for a Queen’s major admission award. Financial need is also a consideration for some of our major admission awards.

You may apply for all of the awards that you are eligible for by submitting a single Major Admission Award (MAA) application. If you’re applying for the Chancellor’s Scholarship, make sure you have confirmation that Burnaby Central Secondary will be nominating you. You’ll need to see Ms.Morabito in room A233 in period 4 if you would like to be nominated. 

Upon submitting your application, an email will be sent to your High School Official (Ms.Morabito) requesting they submit the nomination electronically to our office.  You will then receive an email confirming the nomination has been completed.

$1000 RE/MAX Quest for Excellence Bursary

RE/MAX of Western Canada has renewed the Quest for Excellence bursary program. This year we are once again offering (16) $1,000 bursaries for a total of $16,000 to grade 12 students.

This program was established by RE/MAX of Western Canada to recognize the success and ongoing pursuits of Western Canadian students in regards to leadership and community contribution initiatives.
