$1000 BURNABY SPORTS HALL OF FAME SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is awarded  to an outstanding Athlete who has demonstrated evidence of high athletic ability, community and school involevement, maintains a C+ average or higher and plans on attending post secondary on a full time basis. UP TO $41,600 DALHOUSIE ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP/BURSARY

Dalhousie strives to recognize the impressive academic, extra-curricular, and leadership achievements of the many excellent students who apply ear year.

Dalhousie Entrance awards are based on academic achievement, leadership and extracurricular activities, community service, financial need and ancestry.

The HARRISON MCCAIN Scholarship/Bursary is awarded based on leadership, character, and financial need to students entering the Faculty of Agriculture or School of Nursing.

Barbara Howard Award for Student Excellence in Civil Society

One grade 12 student from  Burnaby Central is eligible. The candidate has devoted a substantial amount of volunteer time to a cause or organization and has demonstrated a meaningful contribution to advancing positive social or environmental change and has inspired others to be engaged in volunteerism or advocacy. If this sounds like you and you would like to be considered for this award, please see Ms.Morabito before March 1, 2014.

Hey GRADS, don't miss out on School and District Scholarships !

Scholarship season has begun! If you would like to be considered for school based scholarships ($100-$1000) make sure you complete a Scholarship Profile  and submit to Ms.Morabito by February 21st. 

Also, if you have already won a scholarship let me know ASAP, just come by A233 or send me an email.

There will be a meeting on February 17 at lunch in room C228 for all grads interested in applying for District Scholarships ($200-$3000). Applications and tips on how to win will be shared!

$1000 OVERWAITEA JOINT DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

The Overwaitea Food Group has partnered with UFCW Local 1518 to offer 10 scholarships valued at $1000 each to individuals who have played a significant role in diversity initiatives in their school and /or community.
