$6000 SUSTAINABILITY SCHOLARSHIP

Our scholarship is open to students applying to or are currently enrolled at college. We believe people from all walks of life can find ways to support sustainability and help build towards a brighter future for all. The scholarship is merit-based requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher and an essay submission. We will be awarding new scholarships every semester.

up to $25000 CST Consultants Inc Scholarships Scholarships

Guruparan, Winsor and Laredo Scholarships
Students are invited to apply for one of three $6,000 scholarships – C.S.T. Consultants Inc. Guruparan, Winsor and Laredo Scholarships.  These scholarships are available annually to three Canadians who are academically gifted, well-rounded, and will be pursuing their first undergraduate degree/diploma at a recognized post-secondary institution. This program is aimed at those students whose parents/guardians do not have a post-secondary education or received their post-secondary education outside of Canada. 

The Awards Selection Committee will award $6,000 to three candidates, through competition.  These awards are in memoriam of Karthiha Guruparan, a bright and determined CST summer student, who was on her way to completing her CMA, Bill Winsor, one of our most successful and engaged Branch Managers and Jacques Laredo, one of our longest standing, energetic and compassionate Branch Managers.

Whitmer Trudel Scholarship
This scholarship will provide financial assistance to one Canadian student who would not otherwise have the financial means to obtain a post-secondary education. This scholarship is made available to an academically gifted Canadian student entering their first year of an undergraduate degree/diploma program at a recognized post-secondary institution with a stated objective to make a positive contribution to Canadian society, and who have demonstrated financial need.This Scholarship is valued at $25,000 and is to be applied towards the cost of tuition.

$3500 COAST CAPITAL STANDING TALL SCHOLARSHIP

  • Awarded to students who are facing, or have faced, significant hardships e.g. poverty, health, family issues, personal loss and lack 
  • Risen up against the odds and demonstrated a commitment to continue their education at a Canadian university, college or technical school. 
  • Write an essay describing your story in 500 words or less

$500 Burnaby Artist Guild Scholarship


The Burnaby Arts Guild is offering a scholarship to a graduating student in each of Burnaby’s eight secondary schools. Applicants must be:
  • a well-rounded student who has demonstrated a passion for visual arts: drawing, painting, sculpture, and or animation
  • demonstrated having a positive influence in the school or community through community service or volunteer work and through dedication and hard work
  • exemplify good citizenship and strong character and demonstrating personal responsibility and respect for others
  • maintained a good academic standing
  • plans to continue with education in a post–secondary program
  • demonstrate evidence through a portfolio of work for visual arts

$3000 BCIT PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIP

Are you planning to go to BCIT? Then don't miss out on the BCIT Pathway to Success
Awards. This scholarship is for students planning to enter into a full-time first year
(technology or technical) program.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• You must have applied for admission to BCIT and have been assigned a BCIT ID
• You must be a citizen or permanent residents of Canada
• You must commence your BCIT full-time studies before March 31, 2020
• A recipient must remain registered as a fulltime student during the academic period for which an award is given
• A recipient must maintain satisfactory academic standing during the academic 
period for which an award is given
•Awards are not deferrable and must be accepted in the
 year in which they are 
awarded.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The student must demonstrate leadership skills and/or additional responsibilities such as family. Examples are:
• taken leadership training/courses
• volunteer and/or community service
• work experience
• captain/president of sports team or group
• Involvement in extracurricular activities
• Play a major role in supporting their family, financially or otherwise.
- Letter of recommendation from school district

LETTER OF INTENT
The student must write a letter of intent which outlines:
• their career goals
• why they have chosen that particular career
• that they have a good understanding of the job and the skills required
• why they want to be a BCIT student
• outlines their leadership skills and/or additional responsibilities such as family.

• Completed student letter of intent

$500 GRACE FAMILY NETWORK FOUNDATION

Founded in the memory of Rebecca Chan, the Grace Family Network Foundation (gfnf) is a non-profit organization that aims to support and encourage under-resourced children and youth in the Greater Vancouver area.  gfnf is the embodiment of Rebecca’s heart for others and the hope that it will be carried on in some small way.

Three scholarships of $500 each are available to Greater Vancouver area students graduating in 2020 and beginning their studies at any post-secondary institution in the Fall of 2020.  Priority will be given to students in financial need.
