Coast Capital Savings is offering 32 Citizenship Awards- $2000 each to students who are taking a leadership role in their community while successfully balancing their academic and personal life. Also, they are offering 16 Standing Tall Awards -$5000 each to students who are working hard to overcome significant personal challenges to achieve their dreams. $24000 ERM FIORILLO/HAL DAVIS SFU BURSARY

This is a unique program designed to assist a student who, due to financial considerations, would not otherwise be able to attend SFU. The bursary is valued at $6,000 per academic year for up to four years. The specific terms of reference for the bursary are as follows:
An annual bursary valued at approximately $6,000 (disbursed in two equal installments) is available to a student entering from Secondary School. This award will be renewable for three additional academic years provided the recipient maintains a 2.00 grade point average and registers in 9 credit hours during the tenure of the award. This bursary is for a capable student whose family cannot provide financial assistance with the costs of post-secondary education because they are on income assistance. $500 HEDDEN CHEMISTRY BURSARY

The  BURSARY will be awarded to a student who has performed service for his/her school or community, demonstrated a proficiency in chemistry and can show significant financial need. The $500 bursary, to be used for post-secondary studies.


Any student meeting the following criteria may apply:
1. the student has or will complete Chemistry 12 by the end of June 2013

2. the student can demonstrate plans to continue the study of chemistry at a recognized post-secondary institution, whether it be toward a chemistry degree or in a field related to chemistry such as nursing or engineering.
