$1000 -GET OUTSIDE YOUR WORLD CONTEST & SCHOLARSHIP

 Since 2004, Engineers without borders has sponsored the Get Outside Your World (GOYW) Contest that has encouraged over 1300 Canadian students to think critically about how Canada can be a strong leader in the world, and the crucial role Canadian youth can play to make that happen. One winner from grade 12 will receive an $1000 untied scholarship, and the winner from grades 9-11 wins a $500 prize. On top of this, both winners will be flown to EWB's National Conference 2013 in Calgary, Alberta, where they will collaborate with a team to deliver a workshop to over 700 University Students, engineering professionals, and international development experts in their network!
