ADVENTURES IN FORESTRY opportunity for GRADS!

This exciting, educational experience will provide students with an opportunity to explore the many facets of the forest and environmental industries.  Students will gain an understanding of the wide range of career opportunities available in the forest and environmental industries. 

Not only are participants able to work side by side with and ask questions of:  mill staff, tree planters, nursery staff and forest fire personnel, students participate in a variety of tours and learn about related post secondary programs at UNBC and College of New Caledonia.  Accommodation, meals and full supervision is provided. 

Interested candidates must be in Grade 12, a non-smokers, be high achieving, able to work as part of a team and have excellent potential to become community leaders.  As part of the application process students must complete a Statement of Interest and submit a character reference from a teacher.
