In selecting the recipients for this year’s awards, the scholarship committees will consider academic achievement, demonstrated exemplary service and leadership within the school and community. Letters of reference will be required affirming the applicant’s accomplishments and efforts to improve the quality of life for young people through volunteer work and other activities. In addition, the applicant must submit a short, one page description of how his/her volunteer service has made a difference in the life or lives of others.
