These scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, community contribution and leadership experience. The Hatch Scholarships are awarded annually to students entering Engineering I at McMaster University. Renewable for three years at the same value provided the student remains registered full-time and achieves a minimum sessional average of 9.5 with no failures.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
The Hatch Scholarships are provided exclusively to students qualifying for admission to the Engineering I program with a minimum admissions average of 95%.Dean's Excellence Entrance Scholarships
These scholarships will be awarded based on:
- an average of at least 95%
- demonstration of leadership experience and attributes
- involvement in extra-curricular or volunteer activities in the community and
- two letters of reference.
